Our neighbor friend had her birthday a couple weeks ago. Claire had an amazing time with all the outside toys.

The face painting was pretty ok too :)

I'm a Girl Mom

Sunday, March 26, 2017
#GirlMom. And I love it.

Claire- 3 years old, Paige- 8 months old

Claire can be such a sweet girl to little sister, and most of the time she is, but never trust a 3 year old. The minute you do, whack, they do something very very bad.

Have you ever heard of the book "Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus?"? Well it's the same concept.

Claire-isms

Monday, March 20, 2017
Toddlers say the darnest things sometimes right?? Here's the latest installment of Claire-isms.

Ross: How do you spell my name?
Claire: R... L A I R E
Ross: How about Paige?
Claire: P... L A I R E

I tell Claire that I have to go on a work trip and she tells me that she wants to "Keep Me." I'm thinking oh that's so cute. And then she says "I'll keep you in a crate like Roma Mom and you can't go anywhere"

"We're both big girls, right Mom?"

Claire is throwing a fit and I ask her what will make her snap out of it and feel better. She squints her eyes and says "Anything MOM, ANYTHING."  She meant to say was "nothing, nothing would make her feel better." I had to stifle my laugh. Silly verb tenses.

Every night before dinner Claire asks "Is there cheese in there?"

C: "Dad, I need to drive the car"
R: "You're not big enough"
C: "Ok Dad, but I'm growing"

Claire's dinner time prayer "Dear God, thank you for our family and for Daddy's pizza. Amen"

In the car the radio is playing in the background and Claire says "Mommy, it's Lady Gaga" and sure enough "Million Reasons" had just come on. We watched the super bowl half time show together and then watched a video of the half time show a few days later. that's it. How did she remember this?!

When Claire counts to 20, she skips the number 15 every single time. Oh and she skips number 25 when we count to 30. So funny.

Petting Zoo

Sunday, March 19, 2017
I took a vacation day from work on the Friday right before Claire's birthday and we had a Mommy/Daughter day. It started with picking up Kolachie's, then heading to the zoo, followed up with a picnic.

The petting zoo is always one of the highlights for Claire, especially Albert the goat.

Multiple birthday celebration days is the best don't you agree?!

3yr Old Yoga Party

Wednesday, March 15, 2017
We had Claire's 3 year old birthday party at Big Power Yoga studio and it was a blast, I definitely recommend!

It was so nice having the chaos contained to a studio room, that's not my house.

Cheeto Break

Such a fun day. Namaste.

The French Laundry

Monday, March 13, 2017
French Laundry has been on my bucket list for almost 10 years. And by some chance of fate Ross and I got to dine there during our Napa trip last weekend. And it did not disappoint... It was the best all around meal and restaurant experience I've ever had. I was on Cloud 9 the entire meal.

I didn't want to finish my dessert Port because I didn't want the meal to end. Toward the end of the meal our waiters said the new kitchen had been open for 22 days and would we like to see it? Ummmm that's like asking Ross Huebel if he wants to go to the ranch? YES!

Got to meet the Chef de Cuisine, David Breeden. OMG.

I might have cried happy tears when we were walking to our car. Not kidding. It was such a special night.
