Gigi and Claire

Monday, April 30, 2018
When things break, the first thing Claire says is, "Maybe Gigi can fix it?" For example, the hem on my dress came out and Claire says "maybe Gigi can fix it mom? Don't be sad".

Two peas in a pod. Can you tell they're related?

More family bluebonnet pictures!

We took these pictures not far from our house, but it was a windy day. Can you tell? :)

Remember When?

Wednesday, April 25, 2018
We sure had a fun Alaska adventure for a few years. I'm glad we moved back to Texas for a whole bunch of reasons, but I still think about Alaska. Today I was working at my computer and my gaze wondered out my window,  full of sky scrapers and concrete. I can't help but remember my views of the mountains, watching the snow descend or the melting progress. Another time I saw a moose out the window- camped out in the middle of the busiest intersection in Anchorage, causing havoc during the evening commute. I have had a whole lot of colorful commutes in Houston traffic but none caused by moose :) I'd love to take the girls to visit Alaska, but it is a long flight to do with little munchkins.

Check out this old post from April in Alaska-

Blog Under Construction

Monday, April 23, 2018
Perhaps you've notice the blog looks a little different this week? Please bear with me as I figure out the best "look" for the Huebel Hammock! The html code on my blog got messed up and I wasn't quite coding savvy enough to fix it, so I just to decided to do a revamp. Think of it as a work in progress while I educate myself on the available options. Unless you're into this sort of thing and you can help me... :)

Nashville

Sunday, April 22, 2018
A friend of mine got married in Nashville on Saturday and we decided to make it a "mini-partial family vacation". "Mini" because it was 2.5 days and "partial" because we left Paige at home with Gigi and Pop Pop.

The weather was beautiful! My cousin Courtney hails from Nashville and made the perfect tour guide and wrangler of a 4 year old. Aunt Marta and Uncle Bill were excellent hosts and babysitters :) Claire had the best quote as we were leaving, "I think I will be back next weekend". Claire had an awesome time and it was nice to really focus on her a few days while Paige got all the focus back at our house. Here are some iPhone photos of our trip, not in order.

Easter Fun

Monday, April 16, 2018
It was a girl girl Huebel world at our house for Easter. Little Paige wasn't sure about the whole Easter egg hunt thing, but the rest of the crew sure encouraged her.

"Granna, what's the big deal with these eggs anyway?"

Cuties on a blanket!

It's pretty hard to get 4 girls to smile at the same time. :)

So much fun having cousins nearer by now!

Movie Review: Murder on Orient Express

Tuesday, April 10, 2018
When it comes to movie reviews, I'm always going to be MONTHS (years?) behind. However, I do feel like it is one of my (many) blogger duties to let you know of movies we really like. And to delivery some content variety, which I have been failing at miserably...  Blame the cutie lil girls! :)

We watched the Murder on the Orient Express last weekend and we really enjoyed.  It's a good old fashioned who done it. I read the book so long ago that I'm questioning if I actually read the book because I did not remember the ending. I'm not a Johnny Depp fan, but I still liked this movie and recommend you see it! The cinamotography is amazing. Netflix Stat. Let me know what you think.

Granna brought over a slew of hard boiled eggs, ready for the littles to dye and decorate them.

Cute new dresses from Granna
