HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Monday, October 31, 2016
It may have been a whirlwind evening, but that's what happens when Halloween falls on a Monday!

We love trick or treating with our friends Lane and Victoria eerr I mean Super Woman and Super Lane.

Ballerina kept saying "Look they're the same. This one mines..." about her plastic pumpkin candy carrier.

Little gnome/elf baby was so chill during our 10 house trick or treating experience.

Did I mention that we started trick or treating at 6pm? Early birds get the worm right? :)

Mrs. Otero!

Sunday, October 30, 2016
My dear friend Noelle had an over the top, fabulous wedding in Puerto Rico this weekend and I feel so blessed that we could be there to help the new Otero's celebrate! (Thank you grandparents!)

Here are a couple phone pics:

The bride- she looked gorgeous!

It was such a fun reception. So fun.

And we just got home and we're exhausted. Vacation from the vacation, anyone?

Paige at 4 months

Monday, October 24, 2016
Paige is a growing girl! We had her 4 month check-up today and here's Paige's stats:

Height: 26 inches (97%)
Weight: 16 lb 4 oz (80%
Head: 17 inches (98%)

Come on big brains with that head circumference!

Ross brought the girls by my office a couple weeks ago and saw some baby pictures on my wall and said, "This is Claire right?!" Errrrr. Nope, that's baby Paige. The other cute girl :) That's how much alike these girls look alike as babies.

Paige's big accomplishment this month has been rolling over!

We had such a great weekend. I'm not going to lie, the beautiful weather made it even easier :) Here are some iphone photo reel highlights.

Girl Dreams

Wednesday, October 19, 2016
I saw this inspirational picture on social media and just fell in love, so I had to share with you...

It makes me think of the quote from the Help:
"You is kind, you is smart, you is important."

It is so important to empower our little ones with the belief that anything is possible. Dream big!

Morning Bear

Tuesday, October 18, 2016
Here's what our morning looked like:

Sometimes Claire just wakes up on the wrong side of bed,

Grouchy girl

This chaos is pretty much how every morning looks. And I love it. Minus the crying toddler part. Claire didn't know what she was sad about and either did I!

Girl in the Woods

Monday, October 17, 2016
Last month we took a family visit to the Houston Water Wall. As Claire calls it, "An Adventure with Exploring". The trees around the promenade in front of the fountain are beautiful. And a special girl made them look even more stunning.

Come on Mom, Come on!

I have such a backlog of pictures! #Mommyproblems.

Scary PJ's

Sunday, October 16, 2016
We've gotten so many clothes and other items from big girl Hailey (Katrina's daughter). I've had a couple Halloween type items set aside and tonight we tried out some PJ's. Claire was so excited to put them on: they're pink with skeleton bones on the front. They also have little friendly bugs on them. All is good until the lights go out and the bones are glow in the dark. Instant tears. It's hard to see in the pictures, but Claire is explaining why she doesn't like them-- because they glow and they're scary. "Need new ones momma!"

We went back to our butterfly jammies.

Maybe next year?

Cheese

Wednesday, October 12, 2016
I love this picture for so many reasons...

The main reason being that it just makes me happy.

Claire "baking" my birthday cake with Gigi. A little decorating and a lot of taste tests. Good thing she has an apron to keep clean.

"Bring your Family to Work" Day

Tuesday, October 11, 2016
Columbus Day means a lot of different things to a lot of different people I'm sure, but to the working parents it's the day when there's no daycare. Two working parents and no school... GIGI?! Granna?! Help!

Ahhh, but this story is different...

You see Ross volunteered to stay home and have a date day with the girls.

Mic check.

Yep. You heard right. 2 girls. 1 daddy.

For their activity Ross decided to bring the girls to see and be seen by my office downtown and then go eat lunch and go to Discovery Green park. We had such a fun time and of course took lots of pictures.

Claire working

Claire loved my big calculator

"Need do working Mom"

At Pappasito's waiting for tacos. "Where is them?"

"My tongue is purple mom" "No baby it's not"

As we walked back to the car Claire said "I'm sleepy. Mom come home for nap too?" I told her there was no nap time in Mommy's big white building :)
