Dr. Jeff aka Brother

Hopefully we'll get another blog installment of "Med School with Doctor Jeff" soon. Next season will be called "Residency with Doctor Jeff" and it premiers in Summer 2016 :)

So in all seriousness Jeffrey graduates from Jefferson Medical School in June 2016. He's currently interviewing for residency positions in different Internal Medicine programs all across the county. I can't wait to start getting more sound medical advice at all hours of the day :) Right now I'm pretty sure Jeff still uses Web MD before giving me answers.

Anyway we are so proud of Dr. Jeff! Stay tuned to find out where Jeffrey gets matched for residency and where he'll be living the next 4 years!!

Claire kept saying "Ro Ro, Ro Ro" and showing other people her pink dog. Unfortunately they didn't know that Claire has a puppy named Roma at home. Super cute. We had beautiful weather for a fall festival!

Special Gift from Grampie, to Claire

I got a special package this week... well actually, Claire got a special package this week :)

Look how beautiful!

A handmade jewelry box from her Great-Grampie. How special!

The note inside reads:
"Dear Claire, I have made a box for you to keep some of your favorite belongings in. I hope that you will like it, because I had fun making it in my workshop. Your mother will keep it safe until you are old enough to use it. May you have a wonderful and very happy life! Love from your Grampie"

I showed Claire the box when it arrived and she was very fascinated with the little wooden rod that "locks" the box. She may have tried to run away with it.

Thank you Grampie, Claire is going to love it! I will keep it safe for the next few years :) What a special gift for a little girl, she is so lucky to have such a thoughtful Grampie who loves her!

Mommy & Claire

Mommy and Claire got some good bonding time together when Daddy was away hunting. It involved 2 different pumpkin patches, cake batter ice cream, chicken fingers, the park, fetch with roma, & Gigi/Pop Pop's house.

So fun getting to see Claire experience things like a pumpkin patch for the first time!

Pumpkin weekend

We saw a lot of pumpkins this weekend which means fall has arrived- even though it's occasionally still over 90 degrees :) I have so many good pictures from the pumpkin patch to share but I just got photoshop version 14 and it's not much like version 8, which I've been using the last 5+ years. So there's going to be a bit of a learning curve and right now I can't even open a picture. So hang tight, I'll get it figured out soon and until then here's some iPhone pics:
