Christmas Cookies

Monday, January 04, 2016
Making christmas cookies with a toddler is pretty funny.

A few things I learned:
1. You must pre-bake some cookies because kiddos don't understand the concept of baking the cookies in the oven. Claire cried the whole time the first batch was in the oven because she wanted to "Eat Eat Eat" the cookies.
2. Use Egg Beaters in the dough because it's there's lots of dough eating while trying to roll out cookies
3. Don't color the frosting you give a toddler bright red because it will stain clothes, teeth, hair, etc.
4. You don't actually want to serve guests the cookies frosted by a toddler. There's lots of double dipping and licking going on
5. Be ready for bath time immediately after frosting cookies

End result: Yummy cookies and the cutest very messy girl :)
